Non-aqueous solvents are organic or inorganic fluids that do not contain water and are crucial in various chemical reactions, particularly in organic chemistry, electrochemistry, and industrial processes. On the other hand, non-polar solvents do not have distinct dipole moments and are used to dissolve non-polar compounds. Examples include hexane, toluene, and gasoline.
